My name is Stu. I am a married, white, queer, atheist artist and budding web developer in his late-20s who suffers from a one-two combo of clinical depression and Seasonal Affective Disorder, along with general misanthropy and cynicism. I am prone to a lot of swearing and can come across as a prickly motherfucker, but if I'm following you, you can rest assured that I don't hate you. That said, I'm a lot more approachable than I make myself out to be, so please feel free to point out when I'm being too much of a prick; I have a lot of trouble finding the line sometimes. I especially encourage people to call me out when I fuck up, as white guys are prone to do. I keep my ask box+anon open for this reason.

blogging while depression money being poor is shit personal shit

I fucking hate being poor

My doctor said I should get a lightbox to supplement my depression meds. These things cost $100-300 each, and my insurance doesn’t cover them, which means we flat-out can’t afford it.

AND THEN one crops up on Groupon at nearly 50% off and it’s still out of our price range, because we are so poor that pulling $63 out of our asses is basically impossible.

Normally this wouldn’t bother me so much but it’s a nasty gray day out today and I am feeling like complete and total shit, so I guess it hits particularly hard.

Paypal fuck you fuck you so much personal shit

Waited two weeks for this buyer for my laptop/tablet to actually pay for the fucking thing.

Waited over a week for Paypal to release the funds.

Checked the shipping information multiple times today (the day the funds were supposed to be released) and finally noticed that for some bizarre fucking reason, they had UPS listed as the shipping service instead of USPS.

Changed that.

Now Paypal is saying I shipped the damn thing TODAY, they apparently sent another e-mail to the buyer saying as much, and just …

Why is this so fucking complicated, I just want the money I should’ve been able to transfer to my bank account two weeks ago, I HAVE BILLS TO FUCKING PAY.
