This is shitty for people like me who have hyphens in their username.  When I go to search my tag, it changes the hyphens to spaces (so “dreadful-record-of-sin” becomes “dreadful record of sin”).  If I put “%2d” instead of hyphens in the address bar, it still converts the hyphens into spaces and then tells me that there are no posts tagged “dreadful record of sin” because, of course, everyone is tagging them “#dreadful-record-of-sin”.

Clicking an existing hyphenated tag in a post doesn’t work either.   You can try by clicking the “dreadful-record-of-sin” tag below; no posts will show up even though you just followed a tag from an existing post because Tumblr fails at hyphens.

Is there a fix?  I haven’t been able to find one.  Meanwhile, I’m gonna start tracking the tag “#dreadfulrecordofsin”; if y’all could start using that to tag me, it’d be appreciated.
